Managely ("Managely", "we", "us") makes an app for rehearsing difficult workplace conversations with a fictional AI "employee." This policy explains what information we collect through the app and this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

When you create an account and use Managely, we collect:

• Account information — your name, email address, and profile photo, from either email/password sign-up or Google Sign-In.
• Practice activity — the scenarios you practice, your conversation transcripts with the AI employee, your skill scores, and the feedback you receive.
• Real-conversation debriefs — if you choose to use the post-meeting debrief feature, whatever you write about how a real conversation went. This is optional, stays tied to your account, and is never treated as a record about any other person — Managely doesn't ask for or store the identity of anyone you mention.
• Subscription status — whether you're on the free or Premium tier, and purchase/renewal events from the App Store or Google Play. Managely never sees or stores your payment card details — Apple and Google handle payment directly.
• Basic device and usage data — the kind any app collects to keep the service working (e.g. app version, crash diagnostics).

How we use your information

• To run the core features of the app — generating AI roleplay responses, scoring your practice conversations, and tracking your progress over time.
• To verify your email address and send account-related emails (like a verification code).
• To provide and manage Premium subscriptions.
• To maintain and improve the app's reliability and safety.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Practice conversations and AI

When you practice a conversation, your messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the AI employee's in-character replies and to score your communication. All scenarios — including ones you describe yourself — are treated as fictional practice, never as a real record about a real person, and Managely's AI is instructed accordingly: it never makes employment, legal, medical, or psychological judgments about anyone.

Who we share information with

We work with a small number of service providers to run Managely, each only for the purpose below:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication and data storage.
• Anthropic — generating AI roleplay responses and feedback.
• RevenueCat — managing subscriptions across the App Store and Google Play.
• Resend — delivering account verification emails.

We don't share your personal information with anyone else, except where required by law.

Your choices

You can update your profile information from within the app at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the details below — we'll action the request as soon as reasonably possible.

Children's privacy

Managely is intended for working adults and is not directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
